Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn Dez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanderson Silvva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvva shoots in but no luck this time.
Dez misses with a takedown attempt

and Silvva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dez's guard.
Silvva wants to pass the guard but Dez is keeping the position.
Silvva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silvva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dez has managed to get both his arms back between Silvva's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dez is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Silvva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dez keeps working.
