Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Yushin Tai has been cut.
Mayweather moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tai shoots in for a double leg but Mayweather sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mayweather lands with a shot to the body.
Mayweather lands a left and a right that send Tai crashing to the mat, dazed. Mayweather thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tai is rocked!
Mayweather lands a nice hook to Tai's body. Tai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tai is still on wobbly legs! Can Mayweather finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mayweather cracks Tai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mayweather has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tai to stand back up!
Tai shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mayweather pinned against the cage. Mayweather gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mayweather connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tai tumbling to the canvas! Mayweather pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tai was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Floyd Mayweather!
