The crowd seem to be enjoying Smalls's choice of entrance music: Kelis - Milkshake. Lucien Smalls has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucien Smalls!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Smalls moves away and avoids it.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones stalks Smalls and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smalls's face. Smalls staggers backwards, shaken.
Smalls is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Smalls paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Smalls lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Smalls thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Jones is rocked!
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smalls closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Jones out cold! Jones corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lucien Smalls!
