Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vernon Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth comes to the cage accompanied by Spitfire by The Prodigy. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vernon Turner was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wentworth moves away.
Turner misses the jab.

Turner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Turner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Turner uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wentworth has time to react.
Turner scores with a hook to the body. Wentworth takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Turner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wentworth counters with a single leg into guard. Turner didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wentworth prevents Turner from improving his position.

Turner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wentworth.
Wentworth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wentworth takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wentworth misses with a double jab
and Turner counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wentworth throws a body punch but Turner moves out of range.
Wentworth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Turner is staying active underneath Wentworth, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vernon Turner will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wentworth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Turner swings for the body but Wentworth moves out of range.
Wentworth throws a left and a right that both miss
and Turner counters with a crisp one two that drops Wentworth! Turner thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wentworth to his feet! Wentworth is in big trouble!
Wentworth is rocked!
Turner drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Wentworth's head, knocking him out cold! Turner is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vernon Turner!
