Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Roc Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Resial Nine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Roc Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Reign Supreme - Persevere And Overcome. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nine dips to his left and cracks Roc Jr with an uppercut!
Nine misses the jab.
Resial Nine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roc Jr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Roc Jr there as he acknowledges the shot.
Roc Jr slips a straight right by Nine.
Roc Jr fails with the takedown.
Roc Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nine.
Roc Jr throws a head kick but Nine moves out of range.
Nine thows a body shot but no joy.
Roc Jr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Roc Jr gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nine.
Nine lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Roc Jr avoids the body shot from Nine.
Roc Jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Good exchange - Nine coming out on top.
Roc Jr takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Roc Jr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nine controls the pace.
Nine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roc Jr's guard.
Nine is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Nine has control of Roc Jr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roc Jr regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Nine working for a guillotine from mount but Roc Jr is in no mood to give up.

Well, with Nine on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Roc Jr is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Nine is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Nine has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Roc Jr has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Roc Jr breaks Nine's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Roc Jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Roc Jr wants to control from the top but Nine keeps moving.
Roc Jr is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nine is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nine has escaped and now he's on top!

Nine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roc Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Resial Nine dominated that round.
That's time! Roc Jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nine cracks a nice hook into Roc Jr's ribs.
Roc Jr fails with the takedown
and Nine counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Nine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nine thuds his right hand into Roc Jr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Roc Jr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nine decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Roc Jr's guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nine is looking to advance position but Roc Jr won't allow it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nine in particular looking to stall.
Nine has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Roc Jr defend it? Nine steps over the head and cranks it - Roc Jr is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nine!
