Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marius Cepulis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Marius Cepulis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marius Cepulis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jesse Custer!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cepulis lands a head kick. Custer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Jesse Custer has been cut.
Cepulis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cepulis misses with a head kick.
Custer tries for a takedown but Cepulis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Custer blocks a head kick by Cepulis.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Custer.
Cepulis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cepulis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cepulis wants it to stay on the feet.
Marius Cepulis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Custer.

Cepulis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Marius Cepulis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Custer blocks a head kick by Cepulis.
Cepulis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Custer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Custer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Custer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Custer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cepulis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cepulis has escaped and now he's on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cepulis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Custer to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cepulis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Custer pulls down on the head and he's put Cepulis to sleep! This one is all over!
