The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Moura.
Ezequiel Lombardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lombardo throws a sloppy head kick and Moura moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moura is defended easily by Lombardo.

Moura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lombardo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moura on the ground.
Lombardo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Moura is pressing down on Lombardo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lombardo is holding on for now.

Moura seems to be working for a kimura but Lombardo defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lombardo wants to stand up but Moura is controlling him.

Moura postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lombardo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moura, into his guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lombardo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Lombardo scores with a one two! Moura had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Lombardo slaps away a takedown attempt from Moura, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A close round but Robson Moura will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lombardo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lombardo wants to stand but Moura has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Moura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lombardo pulls his head out easily.
