Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Dred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dred comes to the cage accompanied by No Easy Way Out. Mac has chosen The Last Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Judge Dred has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gene Mac!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dred is looking to land body kicks.
Dred misses with a straight left.
Mac lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dred circles away quickly and effectively.
Dred misses the jab.
Dred pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mac scores with a leg kick.
Mac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mac pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dred thows a leg kick but Mac checks it
and Mac finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Mac throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dred jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Mac counters with a slapping leg kick.

Dred throws a series of punches but Mac moves out of range.
Dred scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Gene Mac has been cut.
Mac takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mac takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mac connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mac scores with a spinning back kick!
Mac looks to land a combination but Dred avoids it well.

Dred catches Mac with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Mac is rocked!
Dred sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Mac's defenses. It connects perfectly with Mac's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
