The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broffy misses with a two punch combination.
Stark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stark blocks a leg kick.
Stark pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stark tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Broffy avoids the head kick by Stark.
Craig Broffy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Broffy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Broffy manages to avoid it.
Broffy attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Stark counters with a shoot takedown. Broffy fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Broffy wants to stand and escape but Stark is having none of it.
Stark missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Broffy keeping moving, preventing Stark from controlling successfully.
Broffy wants to stand but Stark is controlling the position.

Stark forces his way into half guard.
Stark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
