The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoove closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jacobs to the mat! Jacobs manages to get full guard.
Jacobs looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Smoove throwing strikes but missing.

Jacobs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smoove on the ground.
Smoove is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Jacobs is desperately trying to improve his position but Smoove has a good base and remains in mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Smoove has control of Jacobs's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jacobs regains control of the situation pretty easily.
