The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gray cracks Ryo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gray has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ryo to stand back up!

It looks like Akira Ryo has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gray tries to land a leg kick but Ryo saw it coming and moves away.
Ryo staying out of range there.
Ryo shoots in but Gray avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ryo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Gray has Ryo up against the cage in a clinch.

Ryo is working for takedown but Gray is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ryo tries to pull guard but Gray won't allow it.

Gray cracks Ryo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
