The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy misses with a looping right.

Boy thows a left - swing and a miss!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Boy looks to land a combination. Smith sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Smith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Boy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Smith scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Boy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.

Boy throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Boy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sonny Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Boy counters with a nice uppercut.
Boy throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Smith throws a series of punches but Boy moves out of range.
A good leg kick by Boy.

Smith is breathing heavily.
Boy tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith checks a low kick from Boy.
Boy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Boy is just out of range.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Boy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Smith tries to move into range but Boy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

John Smith's cut is getting worse.

Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Smith seems to have got his legs back now.
Boy cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head.
Boy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Smith had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Boy drops Smith with a big left hand! Smith is injured, injured bad! Boy jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
