Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Renan Guedes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gianfranco Zola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zola has chosen Balls to the Wall as his entrance music. Renan Guedes had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

Guedes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Guedes fails with a takedown attempt.
Guedes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zola circles away.

Guedes closes the distance and clinches up with Zola, looking for a takedown. Guedes pushes Zola against the cage but Zola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Guedes shoots in for a takedown but Zola shows good takedown defense.

Zola passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Guedes!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guedes is trying to defend against the choke here but Zola has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Zola Tightens the hold and Guedes taps out furiously! Zola displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
