Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aarron Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Mean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamilton comes to the cage accompanied by Hands Up-Lloyd Banks. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mean's choice of entrance music: Pantera - Fu*king Hostile. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mean is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Mean drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hamilton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Mean feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
