Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Brown!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Angelo connects with a high kick.
Angelo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brown.
No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Angelo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A solid body kick from Angelo.
Angelo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown leaves Angelo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brown throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Angelo counters with a nice uppercut.
Brown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Angelo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Angelo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily.

Angelo shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Angelo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Angelo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Angelo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brown.
Angelo is breathing heavily.
Angelo lands a head kick!
Brown stuffs the takedown.
Angelo throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Brown misses with the combination.

and Angelo counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Joe Angelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Angelo seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Brown shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Angelo is backing up but Brown catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Angelo covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Brown Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
