Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johan Fransson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fausto Carmelon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fransson's entrance music is Idas Sommarvisa. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fransson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fransson keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carmelon.

Fransson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carmelon to the mat! Carmelon manages to get full guard.
Carmelon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Carmelon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fransson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carmelon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carmelon is desperately trying to improve his position but Fransson has a good base and remains in mount.
Carmelon tries to lock up and control but Fransson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fransson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Carmelon frees his head nicely. Oh but Fransson has switched to an armbar! Carmelon is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
