The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrovic lands a head kick. Cave smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Lucas Cave has been cut.
Petrovic tries to clinch but Cave moves out of range.

Cave goes for a takedown in the clinch but Petrovic prevents it.

Cave is taking a breather. Petrovic says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Cave uses his free foot to push down on Petrovic's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Petrovic.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Petrovic is looking to clinch.

Cave closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cave is keen to just control but Petrovic is a slippery customer.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lucas Cave.
