The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins throws a series of strikes that have LAI backpedaling.
It looks like LAI LAI has been cut.
LAI looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Collins is fending him off so far but LAI persists. Nope, Collins circles away and we're back to standing.
LAI fails with a takedown attempt.
LAI tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Collins swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for LAI LAI. That's going to take a lot out of him.
LAI shoots in for a double leg but Collins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
LAI dives in and grabs Collins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Collins pushes down on LAI's head and hops out.

Collins moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Collins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks LAI with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
LAI LAI's cut is getting worse.

Collins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jeez, LAI LAI's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at LAI LAI's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
