Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Perry!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping misses with a looping right.
Perry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bisping pinned against the cage. Bisping gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bisping misses with a head kick.
Bisping throws a sloppy head kick and Perry moves out of range easily.
Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bisping tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perry.

Bisping thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Perry if he has to take too many more of those.
Bisping throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Perry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bisping sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Perry somewhat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Bisping throws a hook to the side of Perry's head but Perry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Perry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bisping feints and then cracks Perry's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Perry down.

Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perry swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bisping is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Perry can do to turn this around?
Perry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bisping's waist but Bisping gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perry off to one side.

Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perry swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Perry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bisping tries to avoid it but Perry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bisping to the ground. Bisping escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Michael Bisping has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Perry.

Bisping tries to clinch but Perry moves out of range.

Perry shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bisping's guard.

Perry has gone for a leg lock! Bisping slips out almost immediately though and dives into Perry's guard.

Perry looking for subs off his back but Bisping has passed one foot through into half guard.
Perry tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bisping has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Bisping is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Perry is desperately trying to improve his position but Bisping has a good base and remains in mount.
Bisping tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Perry working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bisping wants to get back to his feet but Perry is holding on tight.
Perry can't escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Michael Bisping showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bisping has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
