The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kashkin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hammer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hammer is staying active underneath Kashkin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hammer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kashkin on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kashkin lands a nice shot to the head.

Hammer is trying desperately to improve position.

Kashkin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hammer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hammer drops Kashkin with a beautiful combination! Kashkin stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hammer is looking for the KO!

Hammer connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kashkin tumbling to the canvas! Hammer pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kashkin was done - good stoppage!
