Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wild Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wild Child looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Big is fending him off so far but Wild Child persists. Nope, Big circles away and we're back to standing.
Big throws a right hand that Wild Child ducks under and follows up with a left that Wild Child also avoids with ease.

Big is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Big holds on and takes a little breather.

Big seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Wild Child is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Big's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Big's back!

Big stands up over Wild Child, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Big fails to land with a series of punches.

Wild Child shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wild Child was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wild Child misses with a takedown attempt - Big sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Big stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Big clobbers Wild Child with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Wild Child is staying active underneath Big, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Joe Big overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Big uses his free foot to push down on Wild Child's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wild Child.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wild Child sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Big shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wild Child manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Big got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wild Child has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Big has managed to get both his arms back between Wild Child's legs - danger averted.
