The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lavigne drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wearsmybelt wants to stand and escape but Lavigne is having none of it.
Lavigne thows a big elbow that misses.
Lavigne throwing strikes from guard but Wearsmybelt blocks nicely.
Wearsmybelt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lavigne with a flurry of punches that miss.

Lavigne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lavigne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lavigne stops Wearsmybelt from standing up.

Lavigne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lavigne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wearsmybelt pinned against the cage. Wearsmybelt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lavigne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wearsmybelt is fending him off so far but Lavigne persists. Nope, Wearsmybelt circles away and we're back to standing.
Lavigne shoots for a double leg takedown but Wearsmybelt sprawls well. He's pushed Lavigne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Teddy Wearsmybelt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Lavigne.
Wearsmybelt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lavigne.

Lavigne looks gassed!
Wearsmybelt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Roberto Lavigne has been cut.

Wearsmybelt drops Lavigne with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lavigne looks back up at him and smiles so Wearsmybelt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lavigne is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wearsmybelt grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Lavigne takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Wearsmybelt cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
