The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jardine tries to clinch but Smirnov moves out of range.
Jardine explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Jardine throws a wild body kick that Smirnov sees coming a mile off.
Smirnov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jardine misses with a double jab.
Smirnov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jardine throws the left hand but Smirnov avoids the punch easily.
Jardine blocks a jab.
Jardine throws a sloppy head kick and Smirnov moves out of range easily.
A slow jab from Smirnov misses its intended target.
Smirnov with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Smirnov cracks Jardine with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jardine takes the fight into the clinch.
Smirnov manages to break the clinch.
Jardine wants to slow Smirnov down by chopping away at his legs.
Smirnov digs a good hook to Jardine's body.
Smirnov drops Jardine with a beautiful combination! Jardine stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smirnov is looking for the KO!

Jardine misses the jab.

Smirnov throws a shot to the body.
Smirnov avoids the head kick by Jardine.
Smirnov blocks a head kick by Jardine.
Smirnov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jardine's hands.
Jardine is still on wobbly legs! Can Smirnov finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Smirnov knocks Jardine out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
