Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Springs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kjartan Isaksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Isaksen has chosen SHUT UP WOMAN, GET ON MY HORSE! as his entrance music. Kjartan Isaksen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kjartan Isaksen!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isaksen takes one to the chin there.
Isaksen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Isaksen missing with a left hand there. Springs was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Isaksen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Isaksen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Isaksen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Springs's guard.
Isaksen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Springs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Isaksen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Springs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Springs wants to improve his position but Isaksen is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Springs wants to sweep here but Isaksen controlling him for the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Isaksen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Springs swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Isaksen wants to control from the top but Springs keeps moving.

Springs is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Springs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Isaksen.
Isaksen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Isaksen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Isaksen lands in his opponent's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Springs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Isaksen is working away from the top position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Isaksen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Isaksen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Isaksen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kjartan Isaksen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Isaksen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
