Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rua paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A jab-cross combination lands for Rodrigues and sends Rua crashing to the mat! Rodrigues follows him down to the mat - Rua regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Jose Rua has been cut.
