The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Simmons showed some decent athleticism there.
Leonard trying to control but Simmons postures up.
Simmons scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Simmons stops Leonard from getting back to his feet.
Leonard throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Leonard wants to control but Simmons is keeping busy.
Simmons tries to pass to full mount but Leonard defends it.
