Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between WAH WIE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Mihoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mihoff has chosen Bawitdaba as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Mihoff as WIE shoots in.
WIE scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
WIE fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Mihoff darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mihoff perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mihoff works his way into side control.
WIE tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mihoff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jackson Mihoff just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mihoff is staying active underneath WIE, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

WIE is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

WIE working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mihoff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mihoff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mihoff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
