Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christophe Duggary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Protacio Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Duggary might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Remember The Name Remix. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duggary misses with the combination.

Duggary has managed to clinch.

Jawo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Duggary is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jawo to the mat. Jawo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Duggary drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jawo dives on top into guard.

Jawo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Duggary throws out the jab.

Jawo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duggary sprawls well initially but Jawo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jawo is nestled in close to Duggary, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jawo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duggary with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Duggary jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jawo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jawo and Duggary has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jawo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Duggary has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jawo has managed to get both his arms back between Duggary's legs - danger averted.

Duggary is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jawo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Duggary.

Duggary swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jawo is now in Duggary's guard. A big mistake from Duggary there, giving up the dominant position!

Duggary has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jawo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Duggary has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jawo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Duggary has tightened it up now! Jawo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
