Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chairman Mao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mao comes to the cage accompanied by RENEGADE MASTER. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mao pushes Bong away with a front kick.
Mao attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Mao is looking to chop away at Bong's legs.
Bong fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bong shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bong is looking to stall here but Mao recovers full guard.
Bong tries to free his leg and advance position but Mao is retaining full guard.
Mao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bong on the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mao on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mao tries to get out of the position.
Bong trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mao is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Mao looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bong is one step ahead there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mao pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bong is out of range and Mao settles back down.

and Mao counters with an inside leg kick.
Mao throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mao misses with a kick to the body.
Mao goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mao fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bong is out of range.
Bong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bong moves out of range of the body kick.
Mao throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mao tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bong looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mao throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Mao.
Bong shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mao is trying to defend but Bong finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bong throwing shots but Mao is blocking nicely.
Bong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bong connects with a nice short shot to Mao's temple.
Bong throws a strike but Mao avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Bong won't allow Mao to get back to his feet.

Bong throws and elbow that misses. Mao uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bong's guard. Nice move by Mao!

Bong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mao's guard.
Bong with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bong throwing strikes but missing.
Bong slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bong swings around for an armbar but Mao sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bong's guard.
Bong pulls Mao in to control the position.
Mao wants to stand but Bong is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chairman Mao will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mao's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice body kick from Mao.
Mao attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mao counters with a nice kick to the body.
Mao will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mao to the mat! Mao manages to get full guard.
Mao is trying to keep Bong in close.

Mao tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bong stopping the sweep attempt from Mao.
Bong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mao keeping moving, preventing Bong from controlling successfully.
Mao working for a triangle but Bong defends it easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mao fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bong checks it well.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mao lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bong tries to close the distance and clinch but Mao swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mao looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mao throws a wild body kick that Bong sees coming a mile off.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mao counters with a thumping low kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bong checks a leg kick.
Bong has his takedown stuffed
and Mao counters with an inside leg kick.
Chairman Mao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Bong.
Bong is breathing heavily.
Mao misses with a kick to the body.
Bong moves out of range of the body kick from Mao.
Bong decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bong trying to control the action but Mao is working from the bottom.

Mao tries to roll over but Bong keeps him under control.
Bong misses with a head shot. Mao uses the momentum to regain guard.
Mao pulls Bong in close to his closed guard and prevents Bong from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bong wants to pass the guard but Mao is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chairman Mao dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bong looks to land a body kick but Mao moved away.
Mao does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bong moves out of range of the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mao makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bong really felt that one!
Chairman Mao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mao shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chairman Mao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Crunch! Mao slams his shin into Bong's torso.
Bong checks a leg kick nicely.
Mao throws a leg kick but Bong moved away.
Chairman Mao is winning the standup battle so far.
Mao tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bong is able to avoid easily.
Billy Bong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chairman Mao is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Mao blocks a head kick by Bong.
Mao throws a solid leg kick but Bong takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mao.
Mao is looking to score with low kicks.
Bong takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mao, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
