The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Bitchwax throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kukula circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kukula misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kukula gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bitchwax won't allow Kukula to sweep him here.

Bitchwax is working for takedown but Kukula is calmly controlling the position for now.

Bitchwax changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kukula looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

and Bitchwax decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kukula's guard.
Kukula is looking to sweep but instead, Bitchwax has passed into half guard.

Kukula wants to control but Bitchwax is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kukula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bitchwax has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kukula uses from the top position.
