Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Fuego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torres might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Adagio For Strings. Jayden Fuego has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kid Torres's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jayden Fuego!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuego tries for a takedown but Torres sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Torres scores with a leg kick.

Torres has managed to clinch.
Fuego drops down looking for an ankle pick but Torres pulls his leg out and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Torres.

Torres rushes Fuego and presses him up against the cage.
Fuego on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Torres connects with a knee to the head.

Torres pulls guard.
Torres keeping moving, preventing Fuego from controlling successfully.
Fuego tries to free his leg and advance position but Torres is retaining full guard.
Fuego advances to half guard.

Torres has one foot on Fuego's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Torres cracks Fuego with a right hand to the side of the head.

Fuego takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Torres rushes Fuego and presses him up against the cage.
Fuego blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Fuego wants a takedown.
Kid Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jayden Fuego.
Fuego drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Torres gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fuego throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Torres blocks it with crossed arms.

Fuego looks gassed!

Torres trying to keep a closed guard but Fuego is proving a slippery customer.

Fuego looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Torres cracks the inside of Fuego's front leg.
Torres throws a nice head kick!
Torres lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fuego looks to clinch
and Torres counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Fuego is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Torres pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kid Torres is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Torres throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Torres goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fuego with a lazy takedown attempt
and Torres counters with a big head kick but Fuego shrugs it off.
Torres lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Fuego misses with a takedown
and Torres counters with a thumping low kick.
Torres is looking to slow Fuego down with leg kicks.
Torres looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fuego takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fuego's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Torres cracks a nice hook into Fuego's ribs.
Fuego shoots and misses
and Torres counters with an inside leg kick.
Torres connects with a high kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Torres works over Fuego's head and body with a nice combination.

Torres clinches.

Torres manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Kid Torres dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A slapping leg kick lands for Torres.

Torres has closed the distance and engaged Fuego in a clinch.

Torres manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Fuego throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Torres works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Fuego pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Torres is keeping the position for now.
Fuego is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Torres pulls Fuego in close to prevent any damage.

Fuego thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fuego is breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Torres lands a with a good body shot.
Kid Torres is winning the standup battle so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Torres. That's going to slow Fuego down.
Fuego with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Torres clinches.
Torres tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fuego avoids it.

Torres changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fuego fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Fuego shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fuego was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Torres tries to hold on but Fuego postures up.

Fuego working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Torres turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fuego off and cradles Torres's limp body as Fuego celebrates with his corner.
