PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brass Mckill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Bough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brass Mckill has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brass Mckill seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bough's waist but Bough gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mckill off to one side.

Mckill closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bough to the mat! Bough manages to get full guard.

Mckill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mckill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bough is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mckill is controlling him.

Mckill thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mckill is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mckill stops Bough from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bough lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mckill circles away quickly and effectively.
Bough misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bough tries to bum rush Mckill with a series of wild strikes but Mckill uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bough misses with a few strikes there.
Mckill shoots in for a takedown but Bough shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bough looks for the body kick but Mckill saw that one coming.
Some wild striking there from Bough.
Bough throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bough looks gassed!
Mckill staying out of range there.
Mckill avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mckill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brass Mckill. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bough throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mckill.

Bough scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mckill is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Bough is tapping! Great win for Mckill!
