Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nichiren Daishonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberto Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daishonin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brown manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Daishonin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brown's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daishonin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brown defends it well.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daishonin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brown is not content to let Daishonin control the position.
Daishonin looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Daishonin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brown is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Daishonin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Daishonin has hold of Brown's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Brown manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Daishonin wants to finish this one by submission but Brown is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Daishonin.

Daishonin swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
