The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huima darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Huima is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Morales pushes Huima off looking to stand but Huima dives back in and keeps control.
Huima tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Morales.
Huima stops Morales from getting back to his feet.
Morales trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Huima not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Morales is looking to escape.

Huima is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Morales misses with a two punch combination.
Huima throws a combination that misses
and Morales counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Huima misses with a takedown
and Morales counters with a series of strikes. Huima will be more careful next time no doubt.
Huima will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Huima walks into a left hand.
Huima Huima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huima closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morales circles away.
Erik Morales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Huima Huima.

Huima looks gassed!

Morales lands a left and a right that send Huima crashing to the mat, dazed. Morales thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Huima is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Morales engages and cracks Huima with a massive lead left hook - Huima tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Morales is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
