The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Pearse.

Pearse has managed to clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Pearse.
Pearse is working Drago over against the cage.
Drago tries to pull guard but Pearse won't allow it.
Pearse connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Stalling in the clinch from Pearse.

Pearse manages to break the clinch.
Pearse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Drago stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Pearse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pearse closes the distance and pushes Drago back into the cage.
A body shot lands from Pearse.
Drago looks gassed!
The referee calls for Pearse to work.
Drago jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pearse walks away with a smile on his face. Drago gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pearse moves into the clinch successfully.
Pearse landing knees to the head.
Nice body punch from Pearse - that landed with a thud.
Pearse scores with a shoulder strike.
Pearse pushes Drago back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pearse.
Pearse lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Pearse lands a shoulder strike.

That has opened up Ivan Drago's cut even more.
Pearse working the clinch nicely. Drago is working for position but Pearse cracks him with a big knee to the head! Drago crumples up against the cage and Pearse lands two more shots before the ref can save Drago! This one is all over!
