Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kukushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Oxenfrei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kukushkin comes to the cage accompanied by Kukushka. Oliver Oxenfrei told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kukushkin is looking to advance position but Oxenfrei won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kukushkin lands strikes from half guard.
Kukushkin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kukushkin tries to stand and escape but Oxenfrei is controlling the position.

Nice uppercut lands for Oxenfrei. That snapped Kukushkin's head back.

and Kukushkin counters with a right hand to the body.
Oxenfrei connects with a body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oxenfrei cracks Kukushkin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kukushkin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Kukushkin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oxenfrei lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kukushkin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oxenfrei moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A punch combination from Oxenfrei misses.
BOOM! Oxenfrei lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kukushkin. Kukushkin tries to recover but Oxenfrei is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kukushkin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
