The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar shoots for a takedown but Decimus Aurelius saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Decimus Aurelius.
Escobar manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Escobar wants to control but Decimus Aurelius is keeping busy.
Decimus Aurelius is looking to take a break and control but Escobar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Escobar trying to hold on to Decimus Aurelius's head to control him but Decimus Aurelius postures up.
Escobar is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Decimus Aurelius jumps into side control!
Decimus Aurelius prevents Escobar from escaping the position.
Escobar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Decimus Aurelius content to control rather than advance.
Escobar is controlling Decimus Aurelius's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Escobar is trying to keep Decimus Aurelius in close.
Decimus Aurelius not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Decimus Aurelius would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Escobar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Decimus Aurelius is one step ahead there.
Escobar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Escobar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Decimus Aurelius has left one of his arms exposed and Escobar doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Decimus Aurelius screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
