PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Killstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thai Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Roy Killstein has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Roy Killstein seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Killstein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Killstein shoots in for a double leg but Fighter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fighter moves in looking to clinch but Killstein pushes him off.
Fighter tries to clinch there but Killstein circles away.
Killstein throws a half hearted mid kick.
Fighter is looking to clinch.
Fighter tries to close the distance and clinch but Killstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fighter clinches up against the cage.
Killstein tries to pull guard but Fighter holds him up against the cage and eventually Killstein drops back down to his feet.

Killstein has hold of one of Fighter's legs. Fighter is fighting the takedown attempt but Killstein gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Killstein slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Killstein is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Killstein putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Fighter swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Fighter is desperately trying to improve his position but Killstein has a good base and remains in mount.
Fighter in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Fighter looks gassed!
Killstein is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Killstein lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


Fighter is rocked!


It looks like Thai Fighter has been cut.
Killstein looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Fighter covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Killstein!
