Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Zork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Concrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Concrete will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Concrete!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concrete tries to clinch but Zork moves out of range.

Concrete is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zork shoots in and drives through. Concrete sprawls well.
Zork tries to clinch but Concrete is having none of it.

Concrete tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Zork avoids it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zork jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Concrete walks away with a smile on his face. Zork gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zork takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Concrete wants to clinch

and Zork counters by clinching up.
Concrete throws an elbow that misses.
Concrete is looking to control Zork's arms but Zork gets an underhook and turns him. Now Concrete has his back to the cage.
Concrete wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zork has him pressed against the cage.
Concrete tries to land a knee to the head but Zork blocks with his arms.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zork keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Concrete's efforts to push away.
Concrete throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Concrete breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zork clinches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Zork avoiding damage as Concrete throws knees to the body.
Concrete tries to stall but Zork uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Zork stalling.

and Zork counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Zork.

Zork tries to pull guard but Concrete holds him up against the cage and eventually Zork drops back down to his feet.

Concrete tries to circle away but Zork has him pinned against the cage.
Concrete is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Zork turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Zork is breathing heavily.
Concrete is not content to let Zork control the position.

Zork goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Concrete rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Zork's guard! Nice work there by Concrete!
Concrete is looking to stand up but Zork won't let him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jimmy Concrete will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Concrete connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Some wild striking there from Concrete.

Zork is trying to break the clinch but Concrete has him pressed against the cage.

and Zork counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Concrete wants to stand but Zork is controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zork accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zork wants to control from the top but Concrete keeps moving.
Concrete preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Concrete wants to stand up but Zork is controlling him.
Zork slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Zork stands up from Concrete's guard - Zork perhaps looking for a knockout.
Jimmy Concrete is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Concrete moves in looking to clinch but Zork pushes him off.

Concrete doesn't manage to clinch there - Zork circles away.
Zork is trying hard to land a takedown here. Concrete sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

so Zork counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Concrete wants to stand up but Zork is controlling him.
Concrete keeping moving, preventing Zork from controlling successfully.
Concrete is looking to stand up but Zork isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zork controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Concrete wants to get back to his feet but Zork is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Zork missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damian Zork dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Concrete closes the distance but Zork moves to the side

and Zork counters with a nice double leg into side control. Concrete won't be happy with that.
Zork misses with the ground and pound.
Zork wants to lay and pray for a moment but Concrete keeps working.
An elbow from Zork crashes against the mat.
Concrete is letting Zork control him for a moment.
Concrete really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zork. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Concrete takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Zork stands up and beckons Concrete to his feet.
Zork circles away from the clinch attempt

and Zork decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Concrete's guard.
Zork is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Concrete wants to stand and escape but Zork is having none of it.
Damian Zork overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Concrete can't keep his opponent in guard - Zork advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Zork is controlling the pace.

Zork is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Concrete has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zork prevents Concrete from standing back up.
Zork not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Zork looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Concrete with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zork stops Concrete from getting back to his feet.
Zork is trying to control. Concrete wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Concrete scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Zork manages to mount him!
Zork looking to ground and pound but Concrete is blocking nicely.
Concrete tries to buck Zork off but he can't manage it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Damian Zork showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Zork has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
