The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba avoids the head kick by Cepulis.
Cepulis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cepulis lands a big head kick that sends Sakuraba tumbling to the mat! Cepulis takes a step backwards and waves Sakuraba back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Joshua Sakuraba has been cut.
Cepulis scores with a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cepulis lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sakuraba is looking to close the distance but Cepulis sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sakuraba crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sakuraba is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
