The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rivers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Talib.
Rivers fails to land with a series of punches.
Rivers tries to bum rush Talib with a series of wild strikes but Talib uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rivers throws a body punch but Talib moves out of range.

Talib has closed the distance and engaged Rivers in a clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Rivers.
Talib tries a knee to the head but Rivers blocks it.
Rivers lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Rivers will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Talib up against the cage.
