Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sabin Figaro!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Figaro shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mayoffer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mayoffer holds on and takes a little breather.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Figaro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Figaro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mayoffer's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mayoffer is looking for a sweep. Figaro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Figaro postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Mayoffer to stand up.

Figaro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Figaro lands in his opponent's guard.
