The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izakawa wants to clinch up but Balboa keeps it at a distance.
Balboa scores with a jab to the body.
Izakawa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Balboa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Izakawa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Balboa scores with a hook to the body. Izakawa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Balboa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Izakawa walks into a left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Balboa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Balboa scores with a hook to the body. Izakawa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Izakawa is breathing heavily.
Balboa throws a shot to the body.
Balboa cracks Izakawa with an open hand slap.
Balboa lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Izakawa can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Balboa and Izakawa drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Balboa.
