Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Schankelies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesner!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesner drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lesner looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Schankelies wriggles free and stands up.
Lesner throws a combination. Schankelies tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Schankelies moves in looking to clinch but Lesner pushes him off.

Schankelies closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schankelies lands in his opponent's guard.

Schankelies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lesner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lesner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Schankelies throws a head kick that misses.

Schankelies changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesner tries to avoid it but Schankelies manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesner to the ground. Lesner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Schankelies throws a right hand that Lesner ducks under and follows up with a left that Lesner also avoids with ease.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lesner is on top in guard.

Schankelies is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Schankelies bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lesner's guard.
Schankelies postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Schankelies working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lesner's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rudi Schankelies showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
