Gracie comes into the arena with Fort Minor - Petrified (Gracie Remix) blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazinski throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lazinski digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs.

Gracie moves into range and clinches up with Lazinski.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lazinski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gracie postures up in Lazinski's guard and throws a big left but Lazinski blocks it.

Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lazinski is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Gracie is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lazinski is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lazinski flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gracie anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lazinski and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gracie slips an arm under Lazinski chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gracie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gracie is squeezing on Lazinski like an anaconda would it's prey. Lazinski fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Christopher Gracie!
