Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Boss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Satellite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Satellite is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Boss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Satellite!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satellite avoids the head kick by Boss.

Satellite has managed to clinch.

Boss breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Satellite fails to land with a series of punches.
Boss moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ryan Boss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Satellite swinging wilding here.
Boss swings for the body but Satellite moves out of range.
Boss swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Satellite counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Satellite looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Satellite wants to control from the top but Boss keeps moving.
Boss wants to stand and escape but Satellite is having none of it.

Satellite looking to pass the guard.

Boss looking for a guillotine here but Satellite defends easily.

Satellite trying to control but Boss is working from the bottom.
Satellite won't allow Boss to get back to his feet.
Satellite thows a big elbow that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A head kick misses from Boss.
Boss tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Satellite counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Satellite preventing the sweep.
Boss is looking to stand up but Satellite isn't so interested in that idea.
Satellite controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Satellite passes Boss's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Satellite wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boss keeps working.
Satellite is controlling the pace.
Boss looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Satellite is controlling the pace.
Satellite prevents Boss from improving his position.
Satellite works his way into full mount!
Satellite avoids the attempt from Boss to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Satellite controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Satellite dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Satellite counters with a nice double leg into side control. Boss won't be happy with that.
Satellite wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boss keeps working.

Despite being in the dominant position, Nick Satellite just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boss lands a nice shot to the body.
Satellite fails with an attempt to clinch.
Satellite tries to clinch but Boss moves out of range.

Satellite shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Satellite tries to control but Boss wriggling away.
Boss is wriggling around trying to escape.
Satellite controlling from the full mount.

Satellite forces the positional change into back control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boss is taking damage to the body and head.
Satellite controlling the position well here. Boss rolled but Satellite kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Boss is keeping busy.
Satellite controlling well, preventing Boss from escaping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Satellite somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Boss staying busy and making it hard for Satellite to control.
Boss has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Satellite.
What can Boss do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Boss holding both Satellite 's hands and preventing any damage.
I really don't envy Boss right now.

Satellite is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Boss defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Satellite controlling the positon.

Boss looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Boss is trying to break free.

Satellite looking for the choke but no joy.
Boss trying to control the hands but Satellite won't let him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boss has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Boss is in bad spot here.
Satellite controls the action.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Satellite's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Satellite just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Satellite showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Boss clinches up with Satellite and pushes him back against the cage.
Satellite avoiding damage as Boss throws knees to the body.

Boss breaks from the clinch.
Boss fails with a takedown attempt.
Ryan Boss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Satellite has a takedown stuffed.
Boss tries to clinch but Satellite is having none of it.
Boss lands a two punch combo.
Boss misses with the combination.

Satellite moves into the clinch.
Boss tries for a takedown but Satellite manages to get underhooks.
Boss gets underhooks to prevent Satellite's takedown attempt.
Satellite wants to get back to striking at distance but Boss won't allow it.
Satellite is pressed up against the cage. Boss has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Satellite down to the mat. Satellite avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Boss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boss wants to clinch.

and Satellite counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Boss is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Satellite takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Boss looking to throw knees to the head but Satellite is blocking nicely.

Satellite avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Boss clinches with his opponent.

Boss has hold of one of Satellite's legs. Satellite is fighting the takedown attempt but Boss gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Boss has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Satellite is proving hard to escape from.

Satellite has control of Boss's left arm, preventing Boss from doing any damage.

Satellite is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Satellite tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boss trying to control the position from guard on top but Satellite is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ryan Boss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Satellite pulls Boss in to control the position.

Satellite wants to sweep but no luck.
Satellite pulls Boss in close to prevent any damage.

Boss makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Satellite is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Boss gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Boss throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Satellite blocks it with crossed arms.

Boss manages to pull guard.

Satellite won't allow Boss to get back to his feet.
Boss controls Satellite momentarily but Satellite frees himself.
Boss wants to stand and escape but Satellite is having none of it.
Satellite is looking to advance position but Boss has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Boss looking to control but Satellite is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Boss raining down shots from the mount!

And that's the end of the fight!
Ryan Boss showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Satellite has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
