Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Calas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes into the arena with Hevo84 - A Vida é Minha blaring out of the sound system. Calas has chosen Sonata Arctica - Fade to Black as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Calas throws a head kick that misses.
Calas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jab, jab by Calas - just one landing.

It looks like Johnny Walker has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Calas as Walker shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Calas is looking to clinch.
Walker shoots in looking for a takedown. Calas tries to sprawl out of it but Walker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Calas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Walker misses with a takedown attempt - Calas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Calas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Calas lands in his opponent's guard.
Calas stands up over Walker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Walker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Calas won't allow Walker to get back to his feet.
Walker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Walker is breathing heavily.
Calas trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Calas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Calas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Calas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Calas prevents Walker from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Calas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Calas is looking to clinch.
Calas lands a jab to the head.
Walker wants to clinch up but Calas keeps it at a distance.
Calas throws an overhand right that has Walker reeling! Calas follows up with more punches and Walker is out cold! This one is all over!
