Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cross tries to avoid it but ONeal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cross to the ground. Cross escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cross throws a jab when ONeal was well out of range.
Cross thuds his right hand into ONeal's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
ONeal doesn't manage to clinch there - Cross circles away.
ONeal moves away from the strike by Cross.
Cross scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
ONeal takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
ONeal is not content to let Cross control the position.
Cross is trying to get an arm triangle but ONeal is defending well.
Cross throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and ONeal works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cross scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
ONeal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cross throws a left and a right that both miss
and ONeal counters with a shoot takedown. Cross fights it but they end up in guard.
Cross keeping moving, preventing ONeal from controlling successfully.
ONeal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cross swivels though and keeps the full guard.
ONeal not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

ONeal has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

ONeal looking to sit in guard and control but Cross gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Cross postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! ONeal is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cross, into his guard.

ONeal tries to clinch but Cross is having none of it.
ONeal closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tone Cross dominated that round.
That's time! ONeal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cross fakes high and swings low for a body shot but ONeal manages to avoid it.
Cross lands a big right hand that sends ONeal crashing to the mat! Cross stays standing though and waves ONeal back to his feet!

It looks like Shaquille ONeal has been cut.
Shaquille ONeal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cross lands a huge takedown. ONeal is out but the ref is slow to react and Cross lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. ONeal lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
