The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mendoza slaps away a takedown attempt from Wandrei, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mendoza scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mendoza bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wandrei's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mendoza lands a big head kick that sends Wandrei tumbling to the mat! Mendoza takes a step backwards and waves Wandrei back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wandrei is rocked!

It looks like August Wandrei has been cut.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Mendoza engages and cracks Wandrei with a massive lead left hook - Wandrei tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Mendoza is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
