Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Shogun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Polo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shogun with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Left hook, right uppercut from Polo.

Shogun instigates a clinch.
Polo takes an elbow to the temple.
Polo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shogun smiles and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Shogun.
Shogun lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Polo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shogun sprawls well. Shogun wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Polo gets slowly back to his feet.
Polo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shogun circles away quickly and effectively.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Polo tries to close the distance and clinch but Shogun swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Polo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Polo feints and as Shogun raises his hands in defense, Polo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Polo throws and elbow that misses. Shogun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Polo's guard. Nice move by Shogun!
Polo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shogun manages to get himself to full guard.

Shogun scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Polo manages to mount him!

Polo is going olschool here, as he tries to force Shogun to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Shogun shrugs it off.

Polo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Shogun has his hands clasped together but Polo breaks the hold and Shogun is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Polo!
